Creative Thinking..... It Can Be Learnt
Creativity is something that most of have within. Not everyone has used the opportunity to develop creative thinking though, instead, many of us go through life, repeating the same thinking and behaviours of previous generations.
Dr Edward de Bono is one of the pioneers of Brain Training and has helped people of all levels and ability to master their thinking. He is one of the very few people in history who can be said to have had a major impact on the way we think, also in the workplace, and has worked with many of the major corporations in the world. |

Edward de Bono is known as the father of lateral thinking. He originated the term in 1967 and describes Lateral thinking as ‘solving problems through an indirect and creative approach, using reasoning that is not immediately obvious and involving ideas that may not be obtainable by using only traditional step-by-step logic’.
Many thousands of people have been helped to improve their thinking abilities and creativity skills, using the thinking tools and creativity techniques developed by De Bono. Creativity involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look at things in a different way. The skills are easy to teach and easy to learn.
He has spent most of his life promoting the direct teaching of thinking as a subject in schools. Today children are being taught how to think about problems, how to find and process information, how to solve the problem.
The De Bono skills can be learnt and will help you to see the bigger picture and create better outcomes. The creativity techniques and exercises will help you to challenge your assumptions.
